Whether you’re an old-fashioned romantic or just an exhibitionist, there’s nothing quite like stealing a kiss in public. If you haven’t had a makeout session on our city’s streets lately, what are you waiting for? We’ve combed the city for the best places to lock lips.

Bloor Cinema 506 Bloor W
Head up to the balcony and enjoy a movie from the cinema’s love seats. These two-seaters, installed in 1941, are so petite that you’ll have no choice but to cuddle up close. After 20 minutes, you’ll forget the title of the movie.

Scarborough Bluffs 7 Brimley & 201 Guildwood
The ideal scene for the adventurous romantic, the Scarborough Bluffs are Toronto’s Inspiration Point. Walk the trails on the bluffs’ valleys at Bluffer’s Park or gaze out over the cliff at Guildwood Park. While you rest your legs, the garden’s serene vibe and lack of visitors will inspire you to exercise other, less-strained muscles.

Necropolis Cemetery 200 Winchester
Toronto’s oldest cemetery welcomes courageous lovers. Bring a flashlight and search for the tombstones of William Lyon Mackenzie and George Brown. Afterwards, you can dream up other games to play in the dark and desolate burial grounds.

Park Hyatt’s The Roof Lounge 4 Avenue
Feeling classy? Head to the Park Hyatt’s 18th floor lounge, which provides a panoramic view of the city and a nook perfect for getting cosy with your date.

The subway
After a long night of mingling, devote your ride home to each other. Put a little Tangerine Dream on your iPod, share the headphones and imagine you’re Joel and Lana from Risky Business. Before long, you’ll be showing your partner love on a real train.

Andy PoolHall 489 College
If you find yourself in Little Italy with a sudden urge for some lip-to-lip action, Andy Poolhall is the place to go. The red-lit venue has spacious door-to-floor single stalls in its unisex bathroom, making it the perfect place to get frisky in public. Just one problem: you may have to wait in line.

Christie Pits 750 Bloor W
If you’re looking to kick it old-school, a trip to the playground is in order. The swings at Christie Pits are like giant upside-down Frisbees, ideal for cuddling and kissing all night. Besides the occasional dog walker, you’ll be all alone to enjoy the ride.

XO Karaoke 693 Bloor W
Where else can you rent a room for $25 an hour? Serenade your date with your favourite cheesy ballad, then get some lovin’ on the couch in one of these private karaoke booths.
