Fringe Patrons Picks

The Patrons Picks for the final day of the Fringe have been announced, with a well balanced-out slate of comedies, dramas, and one-person shows:

St. Vladimir’s Theatre, 6pm – Between Commutes
Robert Gill Theatre, 9:15pm – One Woman Show
Theatre Passe Muraille Mainstage, 6:45pm – The Movies (Abridged)
Theatre Passe Muraille Backspace, 7:30pm – Domestic
Factory Mainstage, 9:15pm – Nursery School Musical
Factory Studio, 6:45pm – Mr. Fox
Tarragon Mainstage, 9:15pm – Bluebeard
Tarragon Extra, 6:45pm – Wake
Royal St. George, 9:15pm – Gameshow: The Musical
George Ignateiff Theatre, 6:15pm – Damages
Helen Gardiner Phelan Playhouse, 9:15pm – Wild About Harry

(Reviews for the above shows can be found here.) As far as last-minute recommendations go, there's a performance of the excellent Every Girl Wants A Skirt Like Frida's at the Factory at 1; Jimmy Hogg's A Brief History of Petty Crime and Lupe:Undone hvae their final BYOV shows at 7pm and 8:30pm respectively; and you can catch the terrific Conor McPherson monologue Rum and Vodka (featuring the only half-decent Irish accent I've heard at a Toronto theatre) at the Tarragon at 9pm.

For the undeadly curious, there'll also be a performance of The Zombie Monologues at Kensington Market's Bread and Circus venue at 9pm. You can see the front window of Bread and Circus in the picture above, but let's take a closer look at that review on the top:

Richard Ouzounian seems pretty keen on it, doesn't he? Let's read his whole review of the show from the Toronto Star website:

Nice work, publicists!
