Damian Rogers: over and out

Today marks the last day at EYE WEEKLY for Damian Rogers, who is stepping down from the position as Arts Editor, a post she has held with aplomb for the past five years. While we are very sad to see her go, we are somewhat relieved that we will no longer have to point out to publicists that Damian is in fact a woman. (Starting next week, Damian's duties will be assumed by David Balzer, who readers will recognize as the writer of our weekly Performance and Eye Candy columns.)

 

However, while Damian may be cleaning out her desk and turning in her pass key, she will continue to write for EYE WEEKLY's Arts, Music and Film sections and, starting in our Aug. 14 issue, she'll be contributing a new weekly Wellness column focussing on health, nutrition and stress relief. Most of her remaining time will be devoted to her poetry — if not her acting career:
