When it comes to tattoos, it’s better to save your skin than your money. I mean, if you’re haggling over the longest-term purchase there is, maybe you’re not ready to buy. But the new tattoo sale at friendly Kensington parlour Reactive Ink is pretty great, and so’s their reputation.

Nestled just below eye level at 283 Augusta, it’s a chill little inkwell, harder to miss now that a smiley-yellow banner announcing their summer specials hangs with the smokers out front. (Besides, if you’re in the Market for a tattoo, there’s really nowhere else to go.) The special price of ink? $35 for a small and/or simple design (which would normally start around $65). Body piercings are cheaper too — just $10 on Saturdays, jewellery included, or $20 on Sundays. Shop hours are 1-9pm every day (except Sunday, 1-6pm). To make an appointment, call 416-204-1657.
