Dan Deacon
, the big-funny-glasses-wearing electro-wizard, brings his legendary live show back to Toronto for two shows this week; last night's was a sweaty, small-club set at Sneaky Dee's, whereas tonight, he stages a big-room spectacle at The Great Hall. Taking audience participation to hilarious new highs, Deacon’s dance-fests include tricks like giant human chains and group chanting. 1087 Queen W. $10 from Rotate This, Soundscapes. 9pm

, sketch comedians
Michael Showalter
and
Michael Ian Black
(formerly of cult-com faves

and

) play “themselves” creating a sketch-comedy show called…
Michael and Michael Have Issues
, combining a mockumentary-style backstage narrative with scenes from their show-within-a-show. The format certainly frees up the duo to inject their surrealist humour into a show that might otherwise get bogged down by behind-the-scenes bickering between the passive-aggressive partners. Watch it tonight and every Wednesday at 10pm on the Comedy Network. For more, read TV columnist Josh Ostroff's
interview with the two Michaels
