The T.O. Do List: Dec. 10

1. Want to see Toronto’s queer community at its critically acclaimed best? Check out I'll be Queer for Christmas, a fundraiser for queer-youth organization Supporting Our Youth and for the Next Stage production of EYE WEEKLY’s pick of the 2009 Fringe, Icarus Redux. Tonight's party features Pitchfork-approved (and, as of yesterday, Sony BMG bully victim) beatbox-pop MC Diamond Rings, popular retro hip-hop DJs Yes Yes Y’all and comic Sara Hennessey. 8:30pm. $7. Double Double Land (209 Augusta).

2. Oh Susanna plays Hugh's Room tonight, but it ain't going to be ordinary night of bleak, backwoods balladry. The alt-country chanteuse is gathering a formidable group of guests — including Blue Rodeo's Jim Cuddy, Cuff the Duke's Wayne Petti, David Celia and more — to flesh out her rustic repertoire. 2261 Dundas W. $20 from 416-531-6604.

3. Brampton emo emissaries Moneen resurface at Mod Club (722 College) in support of their recently released fourth full length, The World I Want to Leave Behind. With Sights & Sounds. $15 from Ticketmaster, Rotate This, Soundscapes.
