“Reefer Madness” blasted forth from the Toronto Sun’s front page this morning in its coverage of a peaceful 4/20 marijuana smoke-out at Yonge-Dundas Square that turned chaotic when someone apparently pulled a gun. Reports indicate that when someone spotted the gun, two men wrestled the armed man to the ground, but not before another man was left bleeding from the head from an alleged pistol-whipping. EYE WEEKLY photographer Ashlea Wessel was on hand to capture the C.A.L.M. supporters and pot enthusiasts, and ended up with these images of the melee.
