PushPull Dance trims their recent 24-routine show down to the nine numbers, condensed for a mix of rollicking ensemble dances, clever storylines and tasteful tunes (Sharon Jones!). The company — comprised of systems analysts, project managers and other professionals who still love to dance — mix up the fancy footwork with heart-on-sleeve elucidations of their passion for the art. Covering myriad styles incorporating all the dancers’ various strengths, the show’s choreography seems to be designed so that everything looks impressive regardless of difficulty, which, from an audience perspective, makes for an entertaining hour.
