EYE WEEKLY Review:

As You Puppet is as utterly delightful a rendition of Shakespeare's As You Like It, as you can imagine. Jane McClelland and Mike Peterson transform ordinary stuffed animals into full-fledged characters right before your eyes. The production itself mirrors the way children play-act with their toys, but adds all the polish and stagecraft of professionals. I'm not sure how well children will understand the language, but I'm not sure it matters much either. They will certainly delight in the theatrics of this puppetry while basking in the bard's verse. As will you: this is a show for everybody.
