Little Italy grows up

Though no longer the crown jewel of Toronto’s nightlife scene that it was back in the late ’90s (the fast-food take-out counters now outnumber the cool bars), and fewer vestiges of its storied Little Italy history remain visible, College is still one of the city’s most bustling streetscapes. It's home to some of our finest record stores (Soundscapes), repertory cinemas (The Royal), comic-book shops (Dragon Lady) and concert venues (The Mod Club).
