LGBTQ high school students celebrate in style with a prom like no other, organized by Supporting Our Youth and the Triangle Program. See Style, page 40, for more on getting dolled up for Pride Prom.

Fruit Loopz
June 28, indoor stage 2-6pm, outdoor stage 4-10pm. Alexander Parkette Stage and Tallulah’s Cabaret at Buddies in Bad Times, 12 Alexander. Free.
This alcohol-free Pride event, organized by Supporting Our Youth, highlights the work of young artists and musicians. Check out screenings from the Queer Youth Digital Video Project (2pm, indoor stage), readings courtesy of the Pink Ink program (5pm, indoor stage) and plenty of bands on the outdoor stage.

Family Pride
June 28-29, 11am-6pm. Church Street Junior Public School, southeast corner of Church and Alexander. Free.
Bring the tots down for family-friendly activities, including the LGBT Parenting Network Picnic (June 28, 11am-noon), 519’s Queer Parenting Program Brunch (June 29, 11am-noon), an appearance by the always-adorable Iams SuperDogs (June 29, 4-6pm), clowns, balloon tricks, crafts and more. Plus, there’s free valet stroller parking!
