Who: Toronto Kickball
What: That game you played in the schoolyard that is kind of like baseball but played with a soccer ball, and instead of hitting the ball you kick it.
When: Every Sunday at 5:30pm.
Where: Alexandra Park on Bathurst, just south of Dundas.
Why: According to their website (www.torontokickball.com), “It’s a simple game that doesn’t require much in the way of athleticism or skills, so we don’t want to hear that old ‘I’m not good at sports’ excuse. The point of Toronto Kickball is not to achieve sporting greatness, but to meet new people, have some fun, and share a few drinks afterwards.”
How: It’s free and anyone and everyone older than 19 is welcome. Just show up and join in.
