EYE WEEKLY Review:

A string of songs held together by a slim story line, Saucy Wenches in the Trenches is, by and large, a celebration of show tunes. Juicy Lucy ( Carolyn Lykkemark) and Jaded Jessie ( Heather Dick) sport sparkly polyester dresses, meet while waiting for an audition and end their initial rivalry by finding common ground, using material by Stephen Sondheim, Stephen Schwartz (“It's an Art” is a highlight, particularly due to the talented accompaniment) and other showbiz staples. But the show would be nothing without the considerable talents of the divas, who sing extremely well and with obvious joy.
