                      <description><![CDATA[If Woody Allen set movies in Toronto they would be shot at Yonge and
Eglinton. It’s vertical, the sidewalks are full of people wearing
lululemon — Toronto’s equivalent of Allen’s tennis racquet conversation
prop — and it’s upwardly mobile. It both functions and is known as the
city’s uptown even though North York denizens might disagree, since
megacity amalgamation rendered Yonge and Eglinton Toronto’s midtown.]]></description>

                      <description><![CDATA[Dear Sasha: My ex and I broke it off due to ongoing nonsense, drama and
fights. He told me he wants to keep on being friends and that the
intimate benefits with it won’t hurt. We tried it once, but it ended up
in a heated argument and I ended up storming out of his place. He came
back to me again, two or three days after that happened, saying that we
should try it again and I agreed. The guy seems to either be not
interested in the benefits part or playing hard to get because it has
been a while since the last time we’ve tried it.<br />]]></description>

                      <description><![CDATA[The most maddening thing about the strike by Toronto municipal workers
that began Monday morning is not the patent absurdity of the workers’
claims that they are treated “unfairly” by the city. Nor is the union’s near-callous disregard for the economic environment the most enraging element of the work action. What is most maddening is that the strike is entirely pointless — a
kamikaze action in which everyone gets hurt except the striking
workers’ employer.]]></description>
