INSPIRATION: Once upon a time, those piles of red brick in the Annex and Cabbagetown had middle-class parlours bursting with parties, and an Edwardian etiquette dictating successive garment changes for the high-collar gent. Sir Henry Mill Pellatt’s lavish Casa Loma get-togethers called for sacque suits, bow ties in stripes and checks, and colourful tailored shirts. Fast-forward, and it looks like we’ve got this chic down pat.
