WHO: Karen Bliss, Canadian correspondent for www.rollingstone.com and author of anti-racism picture book The Girl With Pinhead Parents.

WHAT: One-bedroom house. (“Although it was listed as a two-bedroom,” says Bliss. “I guess they counted an indentation.”)

WHERE: Harbord and Grace.

HOW LONG: Two and a half years.

FAVOURITE THINGS: “Since I work from home, I love that I finally have central air-conditioning and also a basement to hide all my CDs and stacks of magazines,” Bliss says. “The other coup is that I have a garage, so no driving around looking for street parking or shovelling myself out after a storm.”
