WHO: Paul Gagnon, 28, arts administrator/YO! Jamz party promoter (pictured in his Halloween costume, as Alasondro Alegré from the Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage” video).

WHAT: One-bedroom basement apartment.

WHERE: Crawford and Dundas.

HOW LONG: Three years.

HOW MUCH: $875 per month, including utilities.

FAVOURITE THINGS: “I wasn’t keen on the thought of basement living, but the apartment was fully reno’d before I moved in and the location and landlords were too great to pass up,” says Gagnon.

His pad’s Trinity Bellwoods location puts him in close proximity to friends’ summertime picnics, soccer celebrations and religious parades (such as the Stations of the Cross procession that heads along Dundas each Good Friday). As he notes, it’s “close to everything on Ossington, College and Queen — but, most importantly, three 7-Elevens.”

PAUL GAGNON’S THRILLER NIGHTS HALLOWEEN DANCE PARTY TAKES PLACE OCT 31, 10PM, AT THE CANADIAN CORPS LEGION HALL (201 NIAGARA). $7 ADV AT ROTATE THIS, SOUNDSCAPES. FOR MORE INFO, VISIT WWW.YOJAMZ.COM.
