WHO: Allison Greenbaum, 34, creator of The Little Green Book of Big Savings, a “coupon and resource book for green living featuring over $4,000 in freebies and savings from locally owned restaurants, businesses and service providers plus tips and resources that will inspire you to reduce your environmental footprint.”

WHAT: One-bedroom, two-storey apartment in a Victorian home in the King West Village area.

HOW LONG: A year and a half.

FAVOURITE THING ABOUT YOUR PLACE: “In addition to being centrally located near parks, public transit, grocery stores and restaurants, my place is very cozy and eclectic,” says Greenbaum. “Many special knick-knacks I picked up during my seven-year travel spree are displayed throughout. The interior walls have circle and square patterns cut out and the second-floor bedroom is large with raised ceilings. I also like having a view of the CN Tower from my kitchen and nice architecture along my street.”
